A phone call or in-home visit
Your consultation can happen over the phone or in person at your loved one's home — whichever is more comfortable for your family. Most families prefer an in-home visit because it gives our care coordinator a chance to see the environment and get a fuller picture of your loved one's needs.
We listen first
The consultation isn't a sales pitch — it's a conversation. We'll ask about your loved one's daily routine, health conditions, mobility, and any specific challenges they're facing. We'll also ask about their personality, preferences, and what matters most to them. The goal is to understand the whole person, not just the care needs.
We answer your questions
This is your time to ask anything. Common questions we hear include: How do you match caregivers? What happens if a caregiver is sick? Do you accept insurance or VA benefits? How quickly can care start? There are no wrong questions, and we'll give you honest, straightforward answers.
A personalized care plan
Based on what we learn, we'll outline a care plan that fits your loved one's needs and your family's schedule. This includes the type of care, the number of hours per week, and the timing of visits. Nothing is set in stone — care plans can be adjusted as needs change.
Caregiver matching
If you decide to move forward, we'll match your loved one with a caregiver based on personality, skills, and availability. We take this step seriously — a good match makes all the difference. You'll have the opportunity to meet the caregiver before care begins.
